Amigurumi Beach Friends

As a kid, a lot of my summer holidays were spent on the beach in France. As a tribute to those days and as my entry to the Plush Team Beach Challenge I present to you Monsieur Le Starfish and Monsieur Le Sandcastle! If you would like them to brighten up your day and bring back happy childhood memories of summers on the beach, they are available to buy from the Plush Team Shop.

I won't be posting much - if at all for the next couple of weeks. I'm going to be on this beach :)

Christmas at outoftheframe

The Holiday season is here! Today is Halloween but as I'm not really into that I thought I'd show you what I've got in my shop for the Christmas Season. If you're looking for cute and unusual decorations this Christmas season then outoftheframe is the place to look!
And don't forget tomorrow is giveaway day :)

so have you joined the crochet-along?

So have any of you joined theitsybitsyspider's crochet-along? I've just been on holiday and I used the time I had relaxing by the pool, looking over the Adriatic to get started on my pumpkin. I actually finished it but I haven't got any good photos of the finished thing yet. Hopefully I'll have something to show you in the next couple of days. If you've joined the crochet-along let me know how you're doing - share a blog link or something. I you haven't joined - then what are you waiting for?

getting organised

Recently I've seen a lot of Etsy sellers talking about getting their shops ready for the Holiday Season and so I decided that I should follow their good example. Living in the Northern Hemisphere the Holiday Season means cold weather and dreams of a White Christmas, so it seems slightly strange to be making Christmas themed amigurumi while it's 40 degrees outside (that's 104 degrees for any American readers!). As you can see my photographic assistant also thinks it's pretty bizarre!

Miss Lilly in the making

I've been away for the last few days - staying by the sea. It was lovely - and we even swam in the sea on Sunday. It was pretty cold, but it gave you that amazing awake and alive feeling once you braved it and got in! As well as swimming in the sea, spending time with friends and playing games I also started making this little bunny. Hopefully I'll finish her sometime today or tomorrow and She'll appear in my etsy shop.
