Last month we spent two weeks in Seattle. We loved it. There is so much to see, so many different parts of the city with different characters. Seattle is famous for being a rainy city, but we got lucky and almost every day was sunny! The sun made all the colours of Seattle even more beautiful.

I totally loved this exhibition. All the colours were so powerful and the combination of colours and shapes was just amazing. The inside exhibits were made even more stunning by being lit up in rooms where everything else was black. It took my breath away when I walked into this first room.

I loved the garden as well. The way that the brightly coloured pieces of glass looked like they belonged with the natural plants. Visiting this place made me want to learn glass blowing!

The famous Pike Place Market is so full of colour and variety and is worth visiting at different times of day to see it in different lights.

The leaves on the trees are turning

It's September tomorrow and the leaves on the trees are starting to turn. So I've been stocking up on Autumn/Fall themed amigurumi in my shop.

And the winner of the Autumn/Fall giveaway is...

Like last time I put my list of all the entries into the list randomizer at random.org and then I generated a random number to find the winner. Here is the list and the winning number. I still can't work out how to get the list bigger but it's there so you can see I did it!

Autumn Fall Giveaway

Happy New Year from Fluffy Bunny

Fluffy Bunny is a bit different from the others - he's still living in the 60's with his flared trousers and slightly spaced out look. The other bunnies are very excited about 2010 and the new fashions that will be coming out, but Fluffy Bunny isn't thinking about that, he's thinking of peace and love and all the meaningful things that would really make 2010 a special year.

So this is Max - he's a mouse. He's all wrapped up for the autumn weather wearing a very nice scarf with a bell on it! and the bell actually rings :) I decided to try making some smaller amigurumi dolls because they take less time and I want to get more products into my etsy store. So I'm still working on a big doll, but now I've got a few projects on the go at the same time. If you like Max you can buy him from my etsy store.
